This is a truly quick and easy chocolate chip cookie recipe that makes just 2-3 cookies that you can enjoy in just 15 minutes. Truly takes just 15 minutes from start-to-finish. Perfect for anyone wanting a few homemade cookies without the hassle of cooking a whole batch of cookies.
- ½ c. all-purpose flour
- 1/3 c. chocolate chips
- 1 egg yolk
- 4 T. butter
- 4 T. brown sugar
- 2 T. sugar
- ¼ tsp. baking soda
- ¼ tsp. vanilla
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a microwave safe bowl, heat up the butter for about 30 seconds. Stir in both kinds of sugar and stir until the mixture becomes smooth and the sugars begin to dissolve. Add in the egg yolk and the vanilla and stir well. Fold in the flour and baking soda and stir and then finally fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop the dough by spoonful onto a small baking sheet that is covered with a piece of parchment paper. Bake for 8-9 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown. Be sure to NOT over bake the cookies. They will continue to cook a bit once you remove the pan from the oven.
Depending on the size of cookie you desire, it will make 2-3 cookies.
