This iced tea recipe makes for a refreshing beverage that is perfect anytime of the year. It has a bit of sweetness, a bit of caffeine and is super delicious.
- 4 family sized tea bags
- 4 c. boiling water
- 2 c. apple juice or a 6 oz. can of frozen apple juice concentrate, undiluted
- 1 T. lemon juice
- Sugar, to taste
Steep the tea bags in the boiling water for 10 minutes. Discard the tea bags and allow the tea to cool some. Once it has cooled down, pour the tea into a clean gallon jar. Pour in the apple juice, lemon juice and any sugar or sweetener you desire. Fill the jar up the rest of the way with cold water, stir well and chill. Or you can serve immediately over some ice. I like to garnish with a few slices of fresh apples and mint.
