Making Homemade Grape Juice the Easy Way

There's nothing better than homemade grape juice. If you have never had fresh, homemade grape juice, I assure you, you are truly missing out.  It’s like nothing you can buy at a store.  This is a super SIMPLE way to make your own grape juice.

·        2 c. grapes (per quart jar)

·        ½ c. sugar (per quart jar)

Remove the stems from your grapes.  Wash them in cold water and drain them.

Get a sterilized jar and put the grapes into the jar.  Add in the sugar.

Fill the jar to the top with boiling water.  Seal the jars with the lid and the ring.  Invert each jar and cover with a dish towel and leave on your countertop this way over night.  The next day, turn the jars over and check the seals.  If sealed correctly, swirl around each jar and move the jar(s) to your pantry.   The next day, remove the ring (but leave the lid on it) and label the jar.  Every 5-7 days, swirl the jars around a bit.  Swirling the jars around helps to dissolve the sugar.

The homemade grape juice will be ready in 3-4 weeks.  After this time, you have delicious homemade grape juice.  The longer it sets, the better it gets.  Just strain out the grapes right before you are ready to drink it or when you are ready to refrigerate the juice.
