This 3 cheese flatbread is so delicious. It tastes as good as it looks! Pair some up with tomato soup or stew and start dunking it!
Easy Italian Flatbread Recipe
2 c. homemade baking mix (or Bisquick)
1/2 c. hot water
2 T. butter, melted
1/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1/4 c. grated parmesan
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp. rosemary
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Mix together your baking mix and the hot water until a stiff dough has formed. Allow the dough to rest for 10 minutes.
Now sprinkle some flour onto a table, and pour the dough onto the table and then shape the dough into a ball. Knead the ball about 50-60 times.
Pat the dough down so it fits into a sheet pan. Now spread the melted butter evenly over the dough that is now in the pan, then sprinkle the rest of the ingredients over the dough.
Bake for 6-7 minutes or until the edges are a light golden brown. Remove, slice and serve warm.
This Italian flatbread is perfect as an appetizer, entertaining, or parties! We often make it when we make pizzas too!
