Sugar Free Spiced Chocolate Cookies
2 1/4 c. flour
1 3/4 c. Stevia or Splenda (or other sugar-free sugar substitute)
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 sticks of butter, softened
3 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients (except for Stevia). In another bowl, cream together the butter and Stevia. Once it is creamed together, mix it in with the dry ingredients. Add in the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
Drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet and slightly flatten each cookie. Bake for 8 minutes or until the cookies get "cracks" in them. Allow to cool slightly then enjoy.
Makes 2 1/2 dozen. One serving is one cookie and each one has 7 carbs per serving.
Is there a way to print the recipies? Thanks!
