The Best Old-Fashioned Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Cookies

   These are a truly good old-fashioned Peanut butter and Chocolate Chip cookie...a true classic  So soft and chewy, even the next morning.  I recently took these to a party a friend was hosting and everyone went on and on about them and kept requesting my recipe so here it is for everyone to enjoy.

The Best Old-Fashioned Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies

                                        1 (16 oz.) jar peanut butter              1 1/4 c. flour
                                        1 c. brown sugar                              1 c. sugar
                                        1/2 c. butter                                      2 eggs                                      
                                        2 tsp. baking soda                           1 1/2 tsp. vanilla       
                                        1/2 tsp. baking powder                    1/8 tsp. salt
1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chip morsels


     Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.  Form mixture into small balls and place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

 Bake for exactly 9 minutes.  Let cool for 2 minutes then remove to a plate.  These are especially good if you eat them right away.

  1. Melody, These sound absolutely delicious! I am going to be baking cookies with the granddaughter and these will be just the ones a 3 year old can help with! Thank you for sharing.
