This is a very easy dinner to make that is very satisfying. It offers up a healthy serving of protein and only uses one pan to cook it. You can serve it as it is or serve it over some rice. Either way, you will get a simple and tasty main dish.
Smoked Sausage & Brussels Sprouts Skillet Meal
1 (16 oz.) pkg. smoked sausage
1 (16 oz.) pkg. Brussels sprouts
2. T. dehydrated chopped onions
2 T. butter
1 T. olive oil
salt & pepper to taste
Cut up your smoked sausage into bite sized pieces. Heat your olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add in the sausage and onions. Cook until the onions are softened and the smoked sausage has a bit of color to them.
Stir in the Brussels sprouts, butter and salt & pepper.
Cook for about 5-7 more minutes; stirring occasionally. Serve as is or over some rice. Delicious!
