The Best Oatmeal Raisin Cookies recipe

   I have been making these Oatmeal Raisin cookies for years and no matter what event or occasion I should make them for, I am ALWAYS asked for my recipe.  These are soft, chewy and delicious.  I figured it was about time I shared them with you all.  :-)

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

                            2 c. flour                               1 tsp. baking powder
                            1 tsp. baking soda                 1 tsp. salt
                            1 c. softened butter               1 c. sugar
                            1 c. brown sugar                   1 tsp. cinnamon
                            2 tsp. vanilla                         2 lg. eggs
                            1 1/2 c. raisins                      3 c. oats 

     Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.  Stir well.

The oatmeal raisin cookie dough
 Drop by spoonfuls onto a sprayed cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes.  Enjoy!  
Makes 4 dozen cookies.

  1. Those cookies look delish!! Nothing put a smile on my face than a fresh out of the oven cookie especially if there's oatmeal, raisin in them. Yum!
