Book Review: The Christian Parenting Handbook by Turansky & Miller

book review, The Christian Parenting handbook, Dr. Scott Turansky, Joanne Miller, Christian book, book on parenting
In their book, "The Christian Parenting Handbook", Dr. Scott Turanksky and Joanne Miller hit the nail on the head with teaching parents how to raise productive, happy children.  This book covers all the stages of childhood and lays out specific strategies for each stage.  The ideas presented in the book are real-life, practical things to help you as a parent.
When you read this book, be prepared to be convicted and challenged by the words presented.  The authors use biblical principles to help guide you to become the parents that Christ wants you to be.  I know I personally found so much useful information in the book.  I have 3 children, ages 23, 15, & 8, and I still learned a lot.  In fact, in the first 13 pages, I used my highlighter 18 times!
Overall, I would recommend this book for any parent.  The book will challenge you to be the best parent that Christ called you to be and will inspire you to raise children that are internally motivated and spiritually strong.  Not only will you learn how to teach your child, they show you how to implement the changes suggested.
