We had the opportunity to review a Wavian NATO Jerry Can. Make no mistake, this is not a typical gas can. This is a heavy duty, professionally made Jerry can for sure. It holds 5 gallons and is made from 0.9mm (13 gauge) STEEL.
It comes with 2 spouts and an internal breather spout. It's painted with rust proof paint and meets NATO standards. All seams are welded and it comes with a locking pin. These Jerry cans are storable and stackable and will not leak, regardless of the position they are stored.
These are legal in all 50 US states and are suitable for either storing/carrying water or fuel. We have used ours for a few weeks now and what I like most about it is that the fumes don't escape. We filled it at the gas station and drove with it home in the backseat of the car and could not smell the gas at all.
Five colors to choose from: red, olive drab, black, blue, or yellow.
