Coturnix Quail

As many of you now know, we raise Coturnix (Japanese) Quail.

They are great for eggs or for eating.   The eggs are highly nutritious and just pretty to look at.

Another great thing is that they mature at 6 WEEKS of age and start laying fertile eggs then.   Amazing, huh?
Finally, the way to tell the male from the female is really easy.

  1. I am not familiar with quail or their eggs. You are correct that their eggs are beautiful. Does one bird feed one adult when dressed?

    1. It takes two adult birds to fill up an adult person. If you had a salad and some side items, you could get by with just one. I appreciate your comments.
